Photog stuff

Photography, travels and the rants that comes with them.

I migrated the old posts here to a new location dedicated to my photography work updates, but I'll keep using this one for my random thoughts on photography and travel.

    Empty homes…

For many reasons, one of which a trip to the Balkans, I wasn’t able to come to my little retreat in Central Portugal as often as usual in the Summer, so I’m fixing that while weather still is nice. Not that’s bad being here in winter, but this hammock isn’t as fun in cold days.

Um projecto tão bonito que a Ana está a fazer crescer aqui às portas de Lisboa! “Uma casa na aldeia do tamanho da paz”

A bit by chance (a friend visiting Tirana a week before me) I was able to catch this exhibit, and it was an amazing record of one of the wackiest periods in modern Europe: Albania in the 90s.

I really care little about celebrations, international days and all those things, including #WorldPhotographyDay, I’m that old guy that complains nowadays there’s a day for everything. But photography has taken me to the most coolest places, and put the most awesome people in my path, and that’s definitely something worth celebrating.

Noticed some some products strategically place nearby in Trump’s speeches. Do they have product placement now?

Post trip chores… Because photos aren’t magically copied and backed up into the hard drives…

    SD cards

Airport snap, or the mixed feelings of returning home.

Neste périplo aos Balcãs a viagem foi 100% feita na Lufthansa. E com 100% desses voos atrasados, todos eles, incluindo aquele que perdi em Frankfurt. Bendita eficiência alemã…

When the route Google Maps gives your accommodation takes you through one of the most beautiful roads you’ve taken, going down a narrow and curvy valley for kilometers. That’s a good day!

And by the way, that accommodation happens to be the guesthouse of a monastery you wanted to visit.

Macedonians really love shiny crosses, this one is in Skopje, but in Ohrid I could see two near each other.

And how about your SD card falling from the hand right into a glass of beer? Had that one today!…

Vacations also mean being able to finally close things…

A malta fala, e com razão, que os espanhóis enchem as ruas, mas os macedónios não ficam atrás: novos, velhos, famílias, esplanadas, bancos de jardim, gente por todo o lado, e zero turistas..

Love the vibes of Bitola’s Old Bazar!

Those slow summer spot vibes! #lakeprespa #northmacedonia 🇲🇰

Lunching by a lake, on a summer day, while listening to even softer versions of soft rock. Yeah… Feeling lazy.
