You’re reminded that you don’t own your data in a Google account every time you try to take it out. Like with Maps. Despite the excellent Google Takeout, the list of locations you saved over the years is exported in a format that consists in name and link to Maps. Which is almost useless…
The masks were back in Lisbon!
For some time it was kind of a tradition to have masked group coming from all parts of the world for FIMI (Festival Internacional da Máscara Ibérica), with the big moment being the parade that happened downtown. It has been on hold for some years, until last weekend.
It’s far from being the same as seeing the authentic thing, but having all these together in the same location, and honestly a bit out of place, makes always interesting photos. And you are able to see familiar faces in your hometown!

Hoje é dia de Desfile da Máscara Ibérica na baixa de Lisboa, após interregno de alguns anos. Dia de rever caras conhecidas e tirar fotos das tradições de máscaras num contexto diferente, curioso como durante algum tempo achei que isto não era “autêntico”. Vemo-nos por lá?
